How to read this page. Each card is one institution. The left column is what the Algerian tradition says about it, the right what the American texts say — filled by the passages you tag on the slips. An institution lit on both sides is a place where the two traditions actually meet: that intersection is where comparative articles live, and it is the two-traditions rule made visible. Cards marked “from the notebooks” carry the worked examples from the two model passages, so the page teaches its own use.
